Negative pronouns are no , nobody , nothing , no one , neither , none

Neither like either , is both a noun –and adjective pronoun ,applied to two persons or things only and is normally followed by a singular noun or verb. For example: Neither of these /two/ cars is what I want

Like in the case with either the tendency is to use a plural verb and a plural noun. For example: Neither of your children are clever .Neither of them were in their office

None is a noun pronoun only ,it is applied to more than two persons or things or to a complete absence of them. For example: None of these people has seen bloodshed. I needed a taxi but none was to be caught

No is an adjective pronoun , nobody, nothing and no one are noun pronouns only. Nobody and no one have the grammatical category of case / common and possessive/
